DYNAFAC
DYNAFAC

The DYNAFAC collective is a set of structures concerned with monitoring forest dynamics on the basis of a network of sites and permanent devices installed in the forests of Central Africa.

Dynafac in brief

DYNAFAC is a collective that brings together a group of structures involved in monitoring forest dynamics based on a network of sites and permanent plots set up in Central African forests. It promotes the development of the technical and scientific expertise of the parties who manage Central African forests.

DYNAFAC also aims to better appropriate research results obtained by national forest administrations by improving regulatory texts.

It is based on the diversity of its research (ecology, forestry, genetics, social forestry…), the exchange and sharing of acquired knowledge (training and communication), and the development of a significant network of public and private partners committed to sustainably managing Central African production forests.

Our Goals

Our Goals

The DYNAFAC collective stems from the desire of a group of structures to unify their efforts to manage Central African production forests more sustainably. The collective aims to improve management plans based on results obtained from a network of permanent plots and the continuous monitoring of forest dynamics.

Our Commitments

Our Commitments

The DYNAFAC collective works towards sustainably managing production forests in Central Africa by monitoring permanent plots, carrying out research on forest ecosystems and strengthening relationships between its partners.

Field plots are studied with the technical and financial support of forestry company partners. These plots will remain viable as long as the companies hosting them guarantee their integrity. This is why DYNAFAC works with companies that show a real commitment to sustainable management (through various forest certification labels).

The Media Library
