DYNAFAC
DYNAFAC

The group owns 500,000 ha of tropical rainforest in the Amazon basin and manages a concession of around 600,000 ha of tropical rainforest in south-eastern Gabon.

The 1,500 employees who work for the group implement responsible forest management rules throughout these massifs.

All these forests are certified according to the two most rigorous certification systems, namely the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC TM).

To guarantee the maintenance of biodiversity and the sustainability of forestry activities, the group is involved in several research projects.

It is in this framework that it currently hosts two comprehensive systems for monitoring forest dynamics, the DynAfFor and P3FAC projects of the DYNAFAC collective.
